The problem I have is I hate running just to run. For a sport, no problem. But just on the road around the block or whatever and I have a hard time being motivated to go. Every now and then I would ask Jer about getting a treadmill but she had a tough time justifying it. Mainly because I have a gym pass that I don't use. She finally gave in and I started looking around for something in the price range we had in mind. I had heard about a store where you can get health equipment for real cheap. Scratch and dent type stuff. We decided to take a trip up north to Huntsville, and as we were leaving I noticed there was another place we could stop by in Ogden. We happened to find a new treadmill there for $400! Great deal, only catch was we had to pick it up or pay to have it delivered.
I managed to borrow my dad's truck and trailer and I made the trek up north again. As a side note, I am glad I don't have a truck right now! I thought it was bad putting $60 every 2 weeks into my car. Anyway, I got the treadmill here and decided that I could get the thing downstairs on my own. That was an adventure, but surprisingly the hardest part was going up the two little steps into the house and not the 8 or so steps down to the basement.
Now we have a treadmill and we feel better! I think this is our fourth week using it, and it's worked out quite nicely so far. We even came up with a plan to keep us motivated. For example, after I put in 10 hours I get to go buy myself new shoes. Jer gets something she wants after she does her 10 hours. On top of that, we also have rewards for us together. After a combined total of 10 hours, we get to go out on a nice date. I like that a lot because it makes me want to keep going. We get bigger rewards as we go along too, so I'm definitely looking forward to that!

Sadie enjoying a ride in the truck as we drove it back to my dad's. You can also see how funny her hair gets when it's too long, I'm surprised she could see at all.
Moose and Jer also enjoying a ride in the truck on the way to Riverton.
