So, here I am at work. I need to break up the monotony of the day today so I decided to right a quick post. Things at home are going well, just taking one day at a time. Nothing too exciting really. We do have to post a few things about our Youth Conference trip we had a week or two ago but I'll do that when I'm home and have more time. Last Saturday Jer and I went to a matinee at The Gateway and we saw some really cool artwork on the street, I'll make a post about that as well. They were some amazing chalk drawings.
My post for today is just for the movie we saw on Saturday, which was one of the movies voted for on my little poll I had up. Out of the two votes that were made...
You Don't Mess With The Zohan - PG-13 All I can say is, you don't want to mess with this movie. Rarely have I actually had the urge to just get up and walk out of a movie, but this made for the longest two hours! Jer and I shook our heads and looked at each other more than we looked at the screen. This show started off well enough for an Adam Sandler flick, I mean you have to expect it to be random. But the few laughs we did get were mostly from the clips you get on the preview, and even those weren't too great. Don't waste your time or money on this one, I've spent enough of both on it already.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull- PG-13 I love Indiana movies, they have always been great for me and Raiders of the Lost Ark was one of my favorites growing up. That's what makes this review tough for me. The movie was entertaining, but slightly disappointing at the same time. Maybe I expected too much, I don't know. Great action as usual, but the story was not what I wanted it to be. I'll just say this, for those that have not seen it this could help you prepare for what you'll encounter. Indy and Area 51. Good show, but of all the things to have Indy get involved with...
Kung-Fu Panda - PG Of all the recent movies I've seen, my best recommendation is one I didn't even think I would enjoy. And this one is for the kids as well. I watched this more because I needed something to watch than because I thought it looked like a good movie. Dreamworks has hardly ever let me down and they did well with this one. Funny, entertaining and a good story. This is one I will get as soon as it is released on DVD.
There you go, that's it for now. I may post another poll to see if there are other movies someone would like to get my opinion on. And I'll try to post that opinion a little faster next time. :)

Thanks for the review Bong. I actually didn't see that you had a poll going, but I would have liked you to review the movies that you did, so thanks! We will take the boys to see the panda movie when it comes to the dollar theater.
